No Database Auto-Update

Recommended Posts

What should I do so that the database is updated automatcally? Malwarebytes Anti-Malware starts with Windows (7 Pro 32 bit) and in "Automated Scheduling" the following is entered:

Type: Check for Updates

Starting on : 07.09.2014

Frequency: Repeats once every 1 day

If Missed: Run again within 1 hour from the last miss

But Anti-Malware never starts an Update. I have to do this manually. Sometimes the following display Window appears "Database Out of Date. Update now". Why does Antimal-Ware this not automatically?

MBAM un- and reinstall was helpfull. But now I get the following error message, when I change something under "Automated Scheduling" and klick on "OK" (Übersetzung):

"Malwarebytes Anti-Malware has stoppt working.

The program is not properly executed because of a problem. The program will close and you will be notified if a solution is available".

After closing MBAM I can start the program without any problems again.

The logs indicate the computer appears to be infected with at least some minor PUP or other possible infections. Since we cannot do malware removal in this section of the forum I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.

Thanks
