Hi MrC.

Chrome is affected.

I tried to open explorer, but it wont even open. Don't know for how long this problem was allready there, I only use chrome.

I did everything you said me to do. I did a threatscan yesterday. The log of yesterday has version 3 behind it.

I'm doing a threatscan again as we speak. Do you also want that log when it's finished?

When a page is open certain words are underlined. When i put the mouse pointer on them  it shows a popup (it disappears when the mousepointer moves away) and says: click to continue: by supermancoupon. In your last reply this happens with the words: re-SCAN, BROWSERS and AVAST.

Tried to upload the log from Malwarebytes but it said upload skipped. No files selected for upload. So copy pasted it.

the fixit tool from Microsoft doesn't work. It says (translated in english) that it cant progress the fixit. Explorer stil does not open.

I have a problem with microsoft anyway, Most updates won't install. I keep getting errors, but that is not a mallware issue I think. Think that makes my computer also vulnerable.

I did run AVAST browser cleanup.

I'll  paste the log from the latest scan. This is the one from the scan that was running before you posted the last message.

After unchecking the extensions in the tools section of Chrome the problem stopped. No more pop ups.

I'll attach te fixit log.

Do you want me to scan again with malwarebytes?

Yes, that's the one, it doesn't show in any of the logs we used.

You should be able to delete it.

and then if there's no other problems..........

Lets check your computers security before you go and we have a little cleanup to do also:

Download Security Check by screen317 from HERE or HERE.

  • Save it to your Desktop.
  • Double click SecurityCheck.exe and follow the onscreen instructions inside of the black box.
  • If you get Unsupported operating system. Aborting now, just reboot and try again.
  • A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt.
  • Please Post the contents of that document.
  • Do Not Attach It!!!

I deleted the program by clicking the bin behind it. Hope that is enough.

I did the securitycheck and will post it under this message.

After the last malware scan, superfish keeps turning up in the malwerebytes log.

No problems with it that I can notice.

You can always reset Chrome if needed:
https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/3296214?hl=en

===========================

Out dated programs on the system are vulnerable to malware.
Please update or uninstall them:

==========================

Java 7 Update 21 <-----please update, should be Update 67
Java version out of Date! <--------Go to control panel > Java > Update Tab > Update Now
Uncheck the box to install the Ask toolbar!!!, McAfee Security Scan Plus or any other free "stuff".

If there's no update tab in Java, uninstall it and Download and install the latest version from Here
Uncheck the box to install the Ask toolbar!!!, McAfee Security Scan Plus or any other free "stuff".

==========================

Adobe Reader 10.1.11 Adobe Reader out of Date! <---please check for an update if available or uninstall and download and install Foxit Reader which is less vulnerable to malware and much better than Adobe. Don't install any toolbars that may come with it (ASK Toolbar).

==========================

A little clean up to do....

Please Uninstall ComboFix: (------->if you used it<-------)

Press the Windows logo key + R to bring up the "run box"

Copy and paste next command in the field:

ComboFix /uninstall

Make sure there's a space between Combofix and /

cf2.jpg

Then hit enter. (it may look like CF is re-installing but it's not)
This will uninstall Combofix, delete its related folders and files, hide file extensions, hide the system/hidden files and clears System Restore cache and create new Restore point

(If that doesn't work.....you can simply rename ComboFix.exe to Uninstall.exe and double click it to complete the uninstall or download and run the uninstaller)

---------------------------------

bwebb7v.jpgDownload Delfix from here and save it to your desktop. (you may already have this)

  • Ensure Remove disinfection tools is checked.
  • Click the Run button.
  • Reboot

Any other programs or logs that are still remaining, you can manually delete. (right click.....Delete)
IE: RogueKiller.exe, RKreport.txt, RK_Quarantine folder, C:\FRST folder, FRST-OlderVersion folder, MBAR folder, etc....AdwCleaner > just run the program and click uninstall.

Note:
If you used FRST and can't delete the quarantine folder:
Download the fixlist.txt to the same folder as FRST.exe.
Run FRST.exe and click Fix only once and wait
That will delete the quarantine folder created by FRST.
The rest you can manually delete.

Hi MrC,

I've tried to delete Java and Adobe, but it doesn't let me.

During the deleting of Java the windowsinstaller just freezes.

During deleting adobe i get a window saying I dont have rights and that it can't read a reg key line.

I do have all admin rights on this computer. I dont know what the problem is. Do you have any clue?
