Hi

 

I installed Malwarebytes on a friends tablet and the scan shows two infections: 

Android/Backdoor.Coudw.a

Android/PUP.Risktool.Mobogen

 

pressing the delete button will show a "uninstall unsuccessful" message. Can you guys help me, I tried resitting the device but those infections keep reappearing after I run the scan

 

No Phone carrier/sim card installed

Brand: one touch HD-A101

Android version 4.1.1

Tablet is not rooted

No other security software is installed

Hello Adiga88,

 

Our researchers and engineers are looking into these potential infections.

 

In the meantime it is recommended to disable the app, since it cannot be uninstalled. To disable go into Android Settings > Apps > Mobogenie/Cloud Server > Disable/Turn off or Force Stop.

 

I will update this post as more info comes available to me.
