I contacted support but they are 4 days behind...this is unacceptable...more people should be hired...malwarebytes is a top choice

Hi:

Welcome.

Sorry to hear you are having problems.

As I am only a home user and forum volunteer, unfortunately, I can not answer your specific question about staffing in the support department.

In any event....

First:
I'm not sure about that expiration date?  Premium, subscription, 3-PC licenses for consumers first became available in March 2014. They are valid for one year.  As far as I know a license purchased in 2014 would expire in 2015. So, I'm not sure how you would have a consumer license with a 2016 expiration date.  HOWEVER, that doesn't matter as far as your current problems are concerned -- we will be happy to help you, no matter what.  We can deal with that later.

"Can't open my Malwarebytes":
If rebooting (restarting) the computer does not resolve your issue, let's start with these routine steps:

  • Please carefully follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back attached to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here - Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,
