Can't be sure if infected or not

I'm very new here and can't tell if I'm infected or not. I downloaded some Java update yesterday and Filezilla. Distracted by another issue at our website, I didn't pay enough attention and I believe I might have said yes to stuff by clicking Next too quickly. I got one program to optimize my PC and have already uninstalled it. Now I have a Cut the Rope icon on my desktop (Win 8.1, Surface Pro 3, Windows Defender, all 1 month old). I realize I can just remove the icon as it's only a shortcut to the game but I'm wondering if I have other stuff I don't know about and I'll tell you why. When I get anything 'new' it's marked new in my program list. So Filezilla was marked new, Java was marked new and the PC optimizer program was marked new. But this desktop icon taking me to the online game was not in the list, not marked and doesn't show anywhere in any lists other than on the desktop. I understand that it's only an iconic link taking me to the online game so it would not be listed in 'new programs' but I'm uneasy that there might be something else on my PC and my not knowing it because nothing on the Internet says we get this with Java or Filezilla. I know it's a Java game but I don't see anyone talking about how it shows up when getting Java or anything so how would I know if more stuff didn't arrive as well. My full scan came out clean which probably means nothing. And a bogus version of this game was a problem on Android phones back in 2011 so I'm feeling insecure right now. Have no idea what to do but came to this forum cause some other guy with issues that included this Cut the Rope icon was helped this past August by you people. He had the Cut the Rope icon plus 3 other things on his computer.

Hello and post-32477-1261866970.gif

P2P/Piracy Warning:

If you're using Peer 2 Peer software such as uTorrent, BitTorrent or similar you must either fully uninstall them or completely disable them from running while being assisted here.Failure to remove or disable such software will result in your topic being closed and no further assistance being provided. If you have illegal/cracked software, cracks, keygens etc. on the system, please remove or uninstall them now and read the policy on Piracy.

Delete the icon that you mention sits on your Desktop....

Next,

Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system (32 bit or 64 bit). If you are not sure which version applies to your system download both of them and try to run them. Only one of them will run on your system, that will be the right version.

Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
Press Scan button.
It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste it to your reply.
The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your reply.

Kevin....
