trying50 Posted August 24, 2014 ID:870606 Share Posted August 24, 2014 I want to reinstall MBAM and following instructions to uninstall, I am asked to download and run, 'mbam-clean.exe' from a link provided. However, when I click on the link I find that I already have it in my system. But how do I run it and do I need to if I uninstall using Revo? PS Cant get rid of the 'bold' type. Maurice Naggar Posted August 24, 2014 ID:870615 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Howdy, SAVE the file when you download and let it overwrite the prior copy. Then close the browser. Go to where the exe is saved. Run it from there. Plus IF this is on Win7 / WIN8 / or Vista then do a Right-click on mbam-clean-2.1.1.1001.exe and select RUN as Administrator and allow it to run.
