farligt Posted August 24, 2014 ID:870518 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Using both 1.01.4.1006 & 1008, MBAE keeps Opera from loading it's Speed Dial and effectivly renders the browser unusable. Every new tab is kept on a endless "Loading.." loop. Disabling MBAE solves the problem and Opera functions as it's supposed to again.
Staff pbust Posted August 24, 2014 Staff ID:870616 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Can you please post both the MBAE files from its logs directory as well as a DDS or FRST log?
danburrito Posted August 24, 2014 ID:870619 Share Posted August 24, 2014 Opera developer v25.0.1597.0 works just fine. As a workaround for the time being, have opera load a blank page rather than the speed dial page at startup or upon opening a new tab.

Staff pbust Posted August 25, 2014 Staff ID:870954 Share Posted August 25, 2014 There's a Known Issue with BitDefender and Chrome. To discard this same issue under Opera, can you please deactivate "Active Virus Control" under BitDefender, reboot and check if the issue is resolved? Staff pbust Posted August 29, 2014 Staff ID:872752 Share Posted August 29, 2014 Thanks for confirming. It is then the same issue as the one being discussed in Product Support sub-forum. We are already working on a fix.
