Malwarebytes won't open after repair service on laptop

Malwarebytes premium - ASUS G750 laptop - Window 8.1

 

I just received my laptop back from ASUS after a repair when I launch MB I get the usual Windows 8.1 User Account Control dialog to allow the program to make changes to my HD, after which ...nothing.  I don't have a clue where to start troubleshooting - anyone have an idea?  I could just reinstall, but I thought I would make at least one attempt to sort it out before that.

Hello and sorry that ASUS has upset the program.

 

Your best idea is to follow the latest directions From Here and then re-install with your correct ID and Key for the program.

This is why you are asked to keep the ID and Key in a safe place .........

The ID for your copy may still be installed so this would show as another user of the same license.
