Malware not dealing with this

My computer seems to be infected with something new - for me at least. There are two sites I regularly visit. And the posts I open  have recently started having various words coloured and when I hover over them, invite some sort of response. Secondly, when I open some posts, I get a phone call, on line, inviting me to participate in a survey. Am I infected with some sort of Phising virus?  The threads typically look like this.
