Malwarebytes anti-malware (2.02.1012 version) freezes during heuristic scan

Recommended Posts

I'm having problems with the newly installed Malwarebytes anti-malware  (free 2.02.1012 version currently running the 30 day trial).

The program freezes during heuristic scan on either threat or hyper scan, although it gives me 0 threats found

I'm running widows 7 64 bit with AVG free antivirus (the system is literally 1 week old after upgrading from 32 bit vision)

I've tried reinstalling the software, running it as a administrator, checking for updates, all to no effect. I've seen that few other guys had the same problem before me, but none of them had 0 threats found, and I think that none was running a 2.02 version

Can you please give me any instructions what should I do with this issue?

All best/ Marcin

Hi, thanks for answering...

Ok, so I've removed the program using the provided link from step 1., followed all instructions, NO EFFECT (hyper scan still freezes)

I could not find explanation for my problem in the FAQ section, so I went for option 2.

Unfortunately the provided link for FRS tool is temporally offline so I'm pasting only the log from mbam-check, I'll post the remaining log as soon as the website goes back online (unless you can provide me with the alternative link)

The logs indicate the computer appears to be infected. As we don't work on actual malware removal in this forum I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.
