Malwarebytes Anti-malware cannot update.

Hello and welcome:

EDIT: Thanks, @pondus -- we were posting at the same time.

@Username711: I suggest that you please try the method in the first link below first.  It MIGHT resolve your issue.

----------------------

We really need to see the logs from the other tool, too.

But your CheckResults.txt log suggests that this method might resolve your issue: What to do: Runtime error - database stuck on 2014.03.04 - program stopped

Please follow the steps in that tutorial and see if it resolves your issue.

If it does not, then:

  • Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back attached to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here - Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thanks,

Apparently, the link to the "fix" has been removed (well, the link is still there, but not the file).

I was not aware of that.

So, please just proceed with the rest of my suggestions (step #1 and, if needed, step #2).

Sorry for the confusion.

Thanks,

Hi:

Your logs show that you are infected.

We can't work on malware diagnostics and removal in this sub-section of the forum.

So, for expert assistance, I suggest that you please follow the advice in this pinned topic: Available Assistance For Possibly Infected Computers.

As you have run FRST, you just need to start a NEW topic with these same logs over in the malware removal section, please.
A malware analyst will guide you through the cleanup process.

Thanks,
