mouse freezes every few seconds for a split second

Recommended Posts

Hi:

There should have been 2 logs from FRST (FRST.txt and Addition.txt).

If you didn't get them both, then it may because FRST has been run on this system before.

So, please place a check-mark in the "Addition.txt" options and then re-run FRST and post back with both logs.

Thanks!

Thanks.

Until someone reviews the logs -- have you checked to see if there are updated drivers for it?

Also, it might help to know the make, model and other specs for the mouse.

Is it wired? Wireless? Bluetooth?

(The other forum members might ask you to run some additional tools that provide more info about your hardware, e.g. Speccy...)

Thanks.

I'm not a gamer but an associate was speaking about this mouse ( year + exact same as yours?) recently.

He said something like --- mouse was intermittently freezing for brief periods. He figured out it was the 'Synapse' (sp.?) process. Ended it via task manager and the mouse performed well. He reverted to an earlier version of the 'Synapse' software and was happy with the result.

Sorry for the sketchy details, he's not available to ask.
