I am a new premium user who went and boogered up the 2 default scheduled tasks under the Automated Scheduling settings area. Looking to reset to default task settings. Tried uninstalling via windows cp and reinstalling but that didn't work.

I could use screenshots of the "Edit Schedule" windows for both default tasks (the Check for Update task and the Threat Scan task - 2 screenshots total). Please include advanced settings checkboxes too.

Thanks for your time!

Hi:

I didn't notice that you had posted in 2 places, so please check my reply to your other post here: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/154803-add-recommendeddefault-settings-button-for-automated-scheduling-settings-tab/#entry864628 :)

That is correct.
A regular uninstall from the Windows CP won't remove your settings.
The mbam-clean removal tool has been redone recently, so I'm not 100% sure that using it will remove all of your settings, either.

But it probably will, and it will remove your license ID/key, too.
However, if you want to give that a try, the instructions are here: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x.
The important steps are to be sure you have your license ID/key handy before starting, and to reboot when prompted after running the removal tool.

That ought to get you back to the default settings. :)

Alas, I don't use the default settings and don't have a test box.
So, we may have to wait for a staffer or another forum member to provide those screen shots of the default settings. :(

For update checks, though, the frequency is hourly (you can set the time and the "recovery" interval).
For the daily threat scans, you can set the time and the "recovery" interval here, too, as well as whether or not to check for updates before scanning).

There may be some detail and pictures for you in these resources:
There is an FAQ Section here: Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions
And here are links to the MBAM 2.0 User Guide: Online and PDF
And there are many useful KB topics and videos at the helpdesk support page

Thanks,
