Can't disable scanning of archives in daily scheduled quick scan

Why can't I disable scan 'archives' in a threat scan, but I can for a custom scan?

It is simply designed that way. You will need to use a custom scan to disable it's use or go to Settings, Detection and Protection, and uncheck "Scan within archives"

That is what I did, but it still scans the 'archives' when the scheduled daily threat scan is run.

All I can do is report this behavior for a possible correction in a future program update. For now remove your scheduled task and setup a custom one to run as you want it to run please.

Will do...but you can see from my screenshots, that if I run a custom scan, it will take awhile in comparison to a threat scan.  So, I think i will stick with the threat scan, even though I can't  disable ''scan within archives" for that, at present.

Yes, I understand because part of the custom is to setup scanning the entire drive. As said, I will report this and see what they say.
