wxman44 Posted August 4, 2014 ID:862156 Share Posted August 4, 2014 Internet Explorer 11 (11.0.9600.17207) will no longer start unless I disable protection on Windows 8.1. I receive an error "Error 0xc0000018" (the application was unable to start correctly). I am not using any of the programs reported as causing conflicts. The only other security software I use is ESET NOD 32 v.7 and disabling it doesn't make a difference. I have never installed any other security programs on this system, it is a fairly new, clean install of windows. Initially it was working fine. I rarely use IE but thought I'd report this issue. Could you please uninstall MBAE, reboot, and then install the new version from https://malwarebytes.box.com/s/nt79amy28hnnbmtyh3rc to see if it makes a difference?
