Malicious Website Protection

Recommended Posts

I have some web sites i use all the time and find that MBAM flags them as bad with Malicious Website Protection. All i see in the log is the following. Is there any way to find more about what MBAM found wrong, before i exclude the web site?

Detection, 7/31/2014 10:40:58 AM, SYSTEM, P7WIN8MC, Protection, Malicious Website Protection, IP, 5.61.36.161, www.hatemtai.com, 58639, Outbound, C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe,

Is there any info about what WBAM looks for when testing a site for Malicious Website Protection

Thanks for any help.

Ok, i guess that is a better place for this post assuming it is a false positive.

That is the real question, how do i know what is wrong with the site. I was hoping some other log might have more details. I guess i can fire up a network logger and try and see what MBAM thinks is a malicious site.
