Terminal Server 2003, one user with startup error

Recommended Posts

Hello,

We had an infection on one of our terminal servers not so long ago now and i was able to remove it. However it has left traces of its self behind, and i can pin them down. The Terminal server has around 25 users on it daily and only one user seems to get an error during login. the error reads:

RunDLL

Error loading z:\WINDOWS\System32\Favorites\deskbar.dll

I have checked the start up draw, checked for anything pointing to this path in the registary and in msconfig, but i cant see anything.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Kind regards,

Chris

Very sorry for the delay. The site has been very busy and there has been more demand for support than we were able handle for a while there.
I'm just now getting back to see if you still need help or not. If you do please reply back and let me know and I'll go ahead and assist you.

Thank you
