Malwarebytes not updating database for second user on PC

Hi,

 

MB pops up with the "databse out of date" message on one of two users on my computer, both with admin rights, and MB set to automatic updates.  But when I click "update now" the message disappears and then pops up again, but no update happens.  Also tried to open dashboard and update from there, but will not update.  I log off and log on the other user, and now the update runs.  

 

The next day - same problem on user 1.  I fiddle around a bit, and find that there are 10 threats discovered, nothing really malicious it seems.  I quarantine these,. and now the update runs fine on user 1.

 

Shouldn't MB tell me that there are identified threats rather than popping "database outdated" messages?

Hello and :welcome:

Yes if you had items pending (threats) that need to be addressed that use would not be able to update. This is a known issue/bug and its being reviewed.

More than likely these were detected with a scheduled scan and you must have missed the notification or closed it by accident.
