Hi there, First post.

I was a paid subscriber to Spydoctor for 12 to 13 Years until it was bought out by the competition, I found it the most valuable tool in my inventory.

I want to purchase this product but am unable to purchase unless I have a Credit Card which I dont, Happy to use Bank to Bank Via Paypal or just Bank to Bank or even send a Money Order via Mail but none of these options are available, only credit card direct & also credit card via paypal.

I mailed Malware support & they said speak to Paypal, I mailed Paypal & they said the client sets up the options when they make their account, so, I have been sent around in circles.

Getting a Credit Card for this one purchase is not an option.

Any suggestions?

Mods know any Staff who can help?

Regards

Aussie

Hello Aussienator and :welcome:

I'll request the likely Malwarebytes staff member answer your topic.

It will be greater than 4 to 5 hours till a response is made from the U.S.A. west coast.

Thank you for your inquiry. :)

Hi:

In addition to 1PW's suggestions....

I wonder if the payment options might differ according to one's locale (and I assume that you might not be located in the U.S.)?

When I try the Malwarebytes purchase page (https://store.malwarebytes.org/342/purl-consumer?x-source=website), I see multiple options, including wire transfer and check/money order (see screen shot).

Are you not presented with those options?

Also, since purchases are not processed directly by Malwarebytes, but rather through their e-commerce partner, cleverbridge, have you tried to contact cleverbridge directly?  Their information is here: Why is my payment processed by Cleverbridge?

Just a thought...

Hi Aussienator,

Thanks for joining our Malwarebytes forum.

Daledoc is correct, credit card, wire transfer, check/money order and Paypal are all acceptable payment methods (in the U.S. and in other countries). You can see the full list as well as the full list of credit cards on the shopping cart page https://store.malwarebytes.org/342/purl-consumer on the right side in blue under "Payment Methods".

Also, did you contact our support team via http://mwb.to/consumerSP? I was unable to locate any tickets from you when I searched by your email.

Thanks,

Cecile

Thanks guys, Yeah I'm down under in Australia

You all helped heaps, it was mid April last time I tried so I guess my mail to support will be now at the bottom of a big pile.

Back then the only 2 options from Australia were Direct Credit or Credit via paypal, I just checked & we now have the wire Transfer option which certainly wasnt there in April but we still do not have the Check/Money Order option.

I can now become a full member of the Malwares Community.

Thankyou so much for your help.

Hi:

Well, the timing probably partially explains things. :)
Version 2 release and the transition to the new, subscription licensing model both took place in late March.
So, you might have hit things at a busy time, during the transition period in April (I am just a home user, not staff, so I am guessing about that)?

In any event, we appreciate your perseverance and support.

Welcome to the forum.

Enjoy your stay.

If you ever need anything else, please feel free to post back.

ALSO, for additional information:
There is an FAQ Section here: Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions
And here are links to the MBAM 2.0 User Guide: Online and PDF
And there are many useful KB topics and videos at the helpdesk support page

Thanks,
