False positive leading to deletion of sound

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I have a Windows 7 Home Premium computer. On June 5th I ran a malwarebytes scan and after a few days I realized my sound was not working. I worked on it for about 2-3 weeks then learning that Malwarebytes deleted Audiodg.exe in system32 while it was a false positive. Then I worked on trying to get the files back but I had no luck. I tried doing "sfc /scannow" in command prompt and tried it in safe mode with command prompt but it didn't work. I can't use Windows 7 installation disk because I can't find it and i'm pretty sure I have a bad disk burner. Can someone provide the files or tell me what I can do to get it back?

Thanks.
