database update does not work

Recommended Posts

Having had no trouble at all with Malwarebytes I have responded to a notice saying that the database needs updating but when I click on the button to do this update nothing happens.

I have been on Windows 8.1 (using the free update from Microsoft some weeks ago) but this does not seem to be the cause as the trouble has only just arisen.

I have tried to provide you with the 2 logs asked for and have attached them.

CheckResults.txtFRST log.txt

I would be most grateful for any advice you can give me.

Hello and :welcome: :

FRST ought to have produced 2 logs (FRST.txt and Addition.txt).

It would help if we could see both of them.

If you didn't get an Addition.txt, it may be that you had previously run FRST on this system?

If so, please re-run, but please make sure there is a check-mark in the Option box for "Addition.txt" before scanning.

Then, please reply here with both logs. :)

Thanks!
