not working after turning off manually

Recommended Posts

in the past I already posted this issue.

nobody cared

i'm using still same version as before 2.0.2

it is broken !!!

i completelly uninstalled it with your clean tool. installed. put premium serial number. let it run. worked.

BUT when i turn it off manually, i'm not possible to start it again.

only way is to remove and install again and never turn it off

when i click on shortcut to start it, my windows 7 ultimate 32 bit, says: Program stopped working.

and here is detailed report from that pop up:

Hello TopJob:

On 18-May-2014, you were requested to post three (3) diagnostic report files if a Clean Removal/Reinstall process did not resolve your issue.

"in the past I already posted this issue.

nobody cared"

That was untrue then, just as it is now. Please follow the steps below in sequence and you will be assisted.

  • Please try the following and let us know if this corrects your issue: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x.
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and individually attach the 3 requested logs in a reply to this thread: Diagnostic Logs.
  • The 3 files, from Step 2, to be individually attached from your desktop are: 1) CheckResults.txt 2) FRST.txt 3) Addition.txt. Please do not Copy and Paste them into a reply.
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located in Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions.
Please let us know the status of your issue in a reply to this thread.

Thank You. :)

Lets see if we can get a crash dump from when the problem happens so we can give it to the development team so they can help you fix the issue.

Create a Full Crash Dump using Sysinternals Process Explorer:

  • Please download Sysinternals Process Explorer from here and save it to your desktop.
    • Note: If using Windows Vista or Windows 7 then you also need to do the following:
      • Right-click on ProcExp.exe and select Properties
      • Click on the Compatibility tab
      • Under Privilege Level check the box next to Run this program as an administrator
      • Click on Apply then click OK
  • Double-click ProcExp.exe to run it.
  • Once the crash happens, leave the error window open and find mbam.exe in the process list in Process Explorer and right-click on it and hover your mouse over Create Dump and select Create Full Dump...
  • Save the mbam.dmp file to your desktop and close Process Explorer
  • Right-click on the mbam.dmp file you just created and hover your mouse over Send To and select Compressed (zipped) Folder
  • Attach the ZIP file you just created to your next reply if it is small enough. If it isn't then please upload it to a file sharing service such as WeTransfer and provide the download link for the file in your next reply
  • If the file is too large let me know and I can give you the instructions for WeTransfer

Hello,

The dump file will have information about the mbam.exe of the Anti-Malware program.  It's only information about the condition of the program itself, at the time of the "crash". It's not going to have personal information, if that is what you are worried about.

Tell us, please, Did this system have before any Beta version of 2.0 of the Anti-Malware?

or the very original version 2.0 or version 2.0.1?

On the last time you installed the version 2.0.2, was that an upgrade or did you do a clean-removal-install ?

Note, as all my colleagues have stated already, we cannot get far to help you if you do not do provide the diagnostic logs.

The team has replied that they are aware and have this issue documented but have not had time to address the issue. It is in queue for review and repair so for now I don't have an immediate time reference for a fix on this for you. Please check back with me by sending me a PM in about a week for a status update.

Thank you
