Root Admin AdvancedSetup Posted July 30, 2014 Root Admin ID:860169 Share Posted July 30, 2014 Okay, we can probably do some cleanup work to fix that but the Developers would like to try and capture some data to see if they can track this down if you don't mind. Please run the following but run a scan with MBAM and then just a little before you think it will hang or freeze try to enable the dump capture "Create Dump File" below don't just run it ahead of time or the capture log will be very large. That way hopefully the capture log won't be too big but then we can grab the error. Create Crash Dump using Windows Task Manager on Windows Vista/7/8/8.1:Open Task Manager by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Esc on your keyboardClick Show processes from all users at the bottom to enable that option and click Yes if prompted by User Account ControlClick on the Image Name column near the top to sort the list of running processes by nameLocate the mbam.exe process and right-click on it, selecting Create Dump FileWait a moment while Windows creates the dump fileOnce it completes it will inform you of the name and location of the dump file (typically C:\Users\Your user name\AppData\Local\Temp\mbam.dmpNavigate to this location and right-click on the mbam.dmp file and choose CutRight-click on your desktop or some other convenient location where you'd like to place the file and choose PasteRight-click on the mbam.dmp file you just moved and hover your mouse over Send to and choose Compressed (zipped) folderAttach the mbam.zip file you just created to your next post or if it is too large, upload it to a file sharing service such as WeTransfer and provide the download link for the file in your next reply You can send us the file by doing the following. Upload File(s) to WeTransfer: Visit WeTransfer.comClick on I AgreeClick on the icon on the lower left indicated in the below imageSelect the Link optionClick on +Add FilesBrowse to the location of the file and double-click on it or click once on it and select OpenClick on TransferOnce the transfer completes, click on Copy linkOnce you receive the Copied! message as indicated below, paste the link into your next reply
