Hello:

I see that you have recently finished up a topic over in the malware removal section.

Please follow the steps below to generate a fresh set of diagnostic logs, for starters.
>>>When you run FRST again, please be sure there is a check mark in the option for "Addition.txt".
Then please post back all 4 logs (there will be 2 from FRST and 2 from DDS).
The experts will probably need some additional data (e.g. from Speccy and/or MiniToolBox), but this will be a good starting point.

Also, you might try the suggestions here: Slow PC? Start Here

Please post back the logs when you're ready, and someone will help you.

Thanks!

---------------------------
STEP 1
Please run the DDS scanner and send back both logs as attachments to your next reply.

Download DDS from one of the locations below and save it to your Desktop:
dds.scr
dds.com

Temporarily disable any script blocker if your Anti-Virus/Anti-Malware has it.
How To Temporarily Disable Your Anti-virus, Firewall And Anti-malware Programs

Once downloaded you can disconnect from the Internet and disable your Ant-Virus temporarily if needed.
Then double click dds.scr or dds.com to run the tool.
Click the Run button if prompted with an Open File - Security Warning dialog box.
A black DOS console should open and run for a moment.

  • When done, DDS will open two (2) logs:
    • DDS.txt
    • Attach.txt
  • Save both reports to your desktop
  • Please include both of the following logs in your next reply as an attachment: DDS.txt and Attach.txt
  • You can ignore the note about zipping the Attach.txt file and just post it or attach it.

STEP 2
Please run the FRST tool and send back both logs as attachments to your next reply.

Download Farbar Recovery Scan Tool and save it to your desktop.

Note: You need to run the version compatible with your system. If you are not sure which version applies to your system, download both of them and try to run them. The one that runs will be the right version.

  • Double-click to run it. When the tool opens click Yes to disclaimer.
  • Press Scan button.
  • It will make a log (FRST.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please attach it to your next reply.
  • The first time the tool is run, it makes also another log (Addition.txt). Please attach it to your next reply.
  • If this is NOT the first time you are running it, please be sure there is a check-mark for the "Addition.txt" under Options.

Hi, matti112:

I understand that you are anxious to get help for your slow computer.

Unfortunately, the forum is very busy.

The MBAM forums are owned and operated mostly for the support of Malwarebytes products and customers and other computer users with malware problems.

This section, for "General PC Help" does not receive nearly as much traffic, as most of the attention is understandably directed to the MBAM Support and Malware Removal sections.

Nearly everyone who would respond here to help is a volunteer helper -- we do the best we can, but this is not a formal support site or "live chat".

So, we respectfully ask that you please be patient.

Until one of the expert forum members comes along to review your logs and advise you, you might be able to receive a faster response at a computer forum that is more expressly targeted to general computer problems and support, such bleepingcomputer.com or sevenforums.com or a number of other, excellent communities.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,

  • Root Admin

The logs indicate that the computer appears to be infected. I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.

Please post the requested logs in the other forum and wait. Current wait time can possibly be up to a week due to the high volume of requests for help.

Thank you

Hi:

It looks as if you have now started 2 separate topics in the malware removal section HERE and HERE.

That is not necessary, as it only creates clutter and it will NOT expedite getting help. :(

Also, our forum Root Admin advised you to start with the instructions in this pinned topic: Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers

He also said:

Please post the requested logs in the other forum and wait. Current wait time can possibly be up to a week due to the high volume of requests for help.

Neither of your new posts in the malware removal section contains the requested logs. :(

As I explained in an earlier reply, we understand that you are anxious to work on your computer.

However, this is not a live chat help service. Most of the helpers are volunteers, and there are many, many people seeking assistance.

Creating multiple, duplicate forum posts (without the requested information) will only delay getting help for you and for the other users.

So, once again, we ask you please to be patient.

If the response time here is not satisfactory for you, then I provided some alternative suggestions in one of my earlier replies.

Thank you,
