Possible Virus: Computer huge lag spikes, Malwarebytes scan not working!

Recommended Posts

Last night I was playing a game on my laptop and randomly it had a HUGE lag spike. Everything froze and nothing would respond for about five minutes. I force restarted my PC to see if that would help, but it did not. I decided to leave it off overnight. This morning I turned it on and the lag was still happening. Simple tasks like clicking on the start menu took ages to load. I decided to wait a few minutes to let it catch up and it did. I was able to open Malwarebytes and attempt to run a scan. The scan ran for about an hour and I noticed it was stuck on a number (forgot what number) in the 'Objects Scanned'. I realized that the number would not move up so I cancelled the scan. I decided to come here for help. I am not very sure what information I need to include, but I read the thread that Root Admin made titled 'I'm infected - What do I do now?'. I ran the FRST, these are my logs:

FRST - http://pastebin.com/JAc77mWM

Addition - http://pastebin.com/1VVe4LrF

(sorry if I am not supposed to use pastebin).

Any help would be appreciated.

I attempted another Threat Scan and, once again, it froze. I tried a Hyper Scan, and to my surprise, it successfully scanned and found tons of infected files. I quarantined them then restarted PC as instructed. The lag has cut down a bit, but I am not sure if there are still any threats remaining.

Here is the log of the scan that found many threats - http://pastebin.com/X39Twfny

Also, I was looking through my processes in Task Manager and saw a 'conhost, exe'. I googled it and saw that it was a Windows process, but this process has no description. Someone said if it doesn't have the system32, it could be a virus. Is this possibly true?

Very sorry for the delay. The site has been very busy and there has been more demand for support than we were able handle for a while there.
I'm just now getting back to see if you still need help or not. If you do please reply back and let me know and I'll go ahead and assist you.

Thank you
