anarchy180 Posted July 18, 2014 ID:854462 Share Posted July 18, 2014 Hi, I MBAM recently to get rid of some malware that was causing hundreds of pop ups on my laptop. I noticed it was out of date but when I tried to update it said it "could not connect to the update server". I then tried downloading the new version. After downloading, the setup file wouldn't open stating "The setup files are corrupted. Please obtain a new copy of the programme". This happens with all MB products and downloads. My laptop is slowly becoming unusable with all the pop ups and adverts. MBAM didn't solve all the issues when I run it. And now it won't update. I used some of the advice you have given others here and it was very useful. I am impressed and grateful for all the work you do. i am having some minor issues with software updating but I hope to fix these myself. If I have any further problems I will contact you again.
