Malwarebytes crashes when trying to update

Hello,

I am trying to update Malwarebytes but it keeps crashing every time I try.  I have tried a clean uninstall/reinstall and following the instructions in this thread: https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/152047-what-to-do-runtime-error-database-stuck-on-20140304-program-stopped/

 

However, it is still crashing every time I try and update or do a scan.

The computer shows signs of a possible infection. I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.
