rootscan error code 20026

I have gotten the root scan error on my laptop system.

I shut off the rootscan and I got the error pop up.

 

So I close the box and now when I try to open MalewareBytes, it wont open.

I uninstalled it and then resinstalled it, even tried an older version and let it update and still the same thing, no message, no start, nothing!!

 

Os is windows pro 7 and had it running fine until this came up

simple laptop, nothing extra on it.

 

Any help?

• Please uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
• If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs
  (the three files should be CheckResults.txt, FRST.txt and Addition.txt)

Also, just a question if I may, are you running any sort of drive encryption on this computer?
