Hello, i recently upgraded from the free version to the paid version. the free version was working just fine until i upgraded now i try to do anything it says that malware bytes has stopped working and asks me to close it debug it or check for a solution.

I understand that MBAM is crashing, but it's not quite clear when this is happening ("trying to do anything" is a bit non-specific). ;)

What you describe sounds as if it might be related to the issue which would be resolved by following the steps in this pinned topic: >>HERE<<

If that doesn't resolve your issue:

  • Please follow the steps in this pinned topic to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back attached to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)
