Malwarebytes keeps getting Disabled (Continuum) Version

Recommended Posts

I have 3 computers that keep getting MWB MSP version disabled, they are running on Windows 7 Pro with McAfee VSE 8.8 installed also, I put exclusion in for the MWBs but, tomorrow it will be disabled.

If I uninstall, then reinstall it, the File RPotection is green, but it doesn't last.

Any help would be great.

Hello neteng:

Let's begin here:

  • Please try the following and let us know if this corrects your issue: MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x.
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and individually attach the 3 requested logs in a reply to this thread: Diagnostic Logs.
  • The 3 files, from Step 2, to be individually attached from your desktop are: 1) CheckResults.txt 2) FRST.txt 3) Addition.txt. Please do not Copy and Paste them into a reply.
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located in Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions.
Please let us know the status of your issue in a reply to this thread.

Thank You. :)

You seem to have posted your logs, but they do not show that you have Malwarebytes installed, did you finish all the steps in step 1 above? After you run the mbam-clean tool, you need to download the latest version again and install it once more.

Then if MBAM is still not working, then run the tools and attach the logs.

Hi:

Until @Firefox and @1PW return...

Your checkresults.txt logs shows that you have the older version of the program installed (1.75).
The current version is 2.0.2.1012.
If you are having problems with version 2.0.2.1012, then that is the version that needs to be installed before running the tools for the diagnostic logs. ;)

So, let's start again, please. :)

  • Please follow the instructions here carefully in order to uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  • If that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back attached to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt) ---> NOTE: In order to generate an Addition.txt log when running FRST again, please place a check in the box for "Addition.txt" under "Optional" before you run it.
  • NOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here - Common Questions, Issues, and their Solutions

Please let us know how it goes.

Thank you,

Ok, here they are, it did not generate an additional.txt file this time.

After the FRST tool has been run once, subsequent launches will require you check the Addition.txt box under Optional Scan.

Please download yesterday's product revision (11.7.2014.0) of FRST64.exe to your desktop, rerun, and attach Addition.txt in your next reply.

Thank you.

Actually your first point of support contact is the Monitoring company and not the forum or our support as this is a special version of the program. They work with our internal team if or when needed. This is a business related issue and again should be addressed with your Monitoring company.

Thank you
