Malwarebytes will not open

Recommended Posts

Hello,

They other day I was about to run a scan on my laptop with Malwarebytes, as I have not run a full scan since downloading it in March of 14, and  could not remember what its was automatically set to do.  When I try to open open Malwarebytes the mouse has the "Im thinking spinning circle next to it" for about 3 seconds then goes back to normal. (fyi my os is windows 7 Prof)  Then the program never opens.  I am assuming this is virus/malware related.

I ran all the chameleons and each time it would successfully create the protected path, but then fail to open the malwarebytes.

I tried uninstalling and re installing, and while it was installing some error codes popped up. (well I would attach the screenshots of those errors, but now I cannot open any files, or access my computer/control panel, Im just getting "system call" Explorer.exe errors)

So after re-installing malwarebytes still would not open.

I ran chameleons again, and each time its made the protected path, and then failed to open malwarebytes. The attached file is the results of the chameleon #2, but all of them had the same results.

Im going to try restarting my laptop in hopes that Explorer starts working again!

Any advice would be much appreciated

Well whatever was wrong with my explorer.exe seems to be fixed after restarting.  I have attached a screen cap of the error code when I was installing Malwarebytes.  It popped up five times with the same error code, just with different "runtimes"

The different Runtime Errors were at

1st: at 79:177

2nd: at 79:177

3rd: at 79:177

4th: at 69:252

5th: at 45:89

The same error code was displayed for each event:

 E06D7363

Thanks
