Are you saying that MBAE will adequately protect Java even for XP users? Or are you instead suggesting that it's time for XP users to completely dump java?? In fact it protects the same for XP than Win8 in respect to Java. Since Java exploits are mostly sandbox escapes the threat to users is practically the same for XP or Win8 users.
