MBAM Protecton not working correctly

Recommended Posts

I have done the clean removal process twice now. I purchased a lifetime pro version, I don't feel I should have to scrub and reload this program every time I shut down my computer and turn it back on. It only happens when I turn my computer on after shutting it down. I don't leave my computer running. The previous version worked great, then when it changed to the 'new form' I'm not getting active protection and when I click 'fix now' it just blinks back and forth from protected to not protected. I am trying the beta now, I'm hoping that will work. I have windows xp in the hopes that you can find the problem.

Hi, @venus885:

Welcome.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having problems with the protection modules.

As this topic was was started by another user ~6 weeks ago, the instructions provided to that OP are no longer current.
For one thing, MBAM 2.0.2.1012 has been out of beta since May 20.
There is no current, public beta version.
2.0.2.1012 is the current, public release version.

Moreover, each computer is unique.
Problems that sound "the same" most often are not.
The same is true for solutions.
They most often need to be individualized.
It is less confusing for everyone if we try to stick to "one user per topic".

If you have already attempted a clean reinstall and it did not resolve your issue, then the staff will need some basic system information in order to help to resolve it.

  1.  Please read the following pinned topic - Diagnostic Logs
  2. Then, please start a NEW, SEPARATE topic and post back the 3 requested logs using the cjfj.png button.

The staff and experts will be able to more easily provide both you and the OP with individual help to get you both up and running.

Thanks for your patience and understanding,
