Can't update database

Recommended Posts

I've been using the Pro version for about 6 months with no problems. Now I can't update the database. If the pop-up window appears telling me to update, nothing happens when I click on the "Update Now" button and the window keeps reappearing. The update option on the program's control panel is greyed out. I've followed the MBAM Clean Removal Process, including installing the most recent version, but the problem continues. Otherwise the program seems to be working as it should. I've attached the log files. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hello sidneyschwartz and :welcome:

Due to the high quality of your initial post, I believe you would benefit from the following:

I recommend following the advice from the topic: Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and have one of the Malware Removal Experts assist you with your issue.

If, as recommended, you do open a topic in Malware Removal Help, please make reference to this thread.

Thank you. :)

I' m having the same problem.  It has been going on for about a week and cannot get rid of the "Databases Out of Date" pop up.  I am about ready to just get rid of the whole thing and go back to the free download as I never had a problem with that.  This started only after I purchased the pro version.  What to do?

Hello batguy and :welcome:

We are disappointed to read your system is having issues. Each computer is unique. Problems that seem "the same" most often are not.

The same is true for solutions. They most often need to be individualized.

It is less confusing for everyone if we adhere to the "one user per topic" sub-forum policy.

Please start a NEW, SEPARATE topic using this >>cjfj.png<< button.

Staffers, experts and helpers will be able to more easily provide both you, and the OP/Topic Starter, with individualized assistance to get you both up and running.

Thank you always for your patience and understanding. :)
