EDIT: OOPS!  It appears that 1PW and I were posting at the same time.  You might try rebooting and then the clean reinstall (step #1 below).  If those don't solve the problem, then please proceed with the logs (step #2), but do post them in a new topic in the MBAM support section, as 1PW suggested (unless the mod team has already moved your post there by then). ;)IOW, sometimes there's no need to start a 2nd topic, as the mods will have already relocated the original post to the correct section. :)

I understand that you are having a problem with opening the program after a recent program update.

 

Have you rebooted the computer at least once since the upgrade?

If that doesn't resolve the issues, then let's start with this routine troubleshooting, please:
