Exclusion ESET & MBAM my commputer freeze

Following the instructions:

Set the following exclusions in ESET Smart Security before you enable the Trial for the PRO version:

C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes [Folder] OR x64 OS (C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes)

C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mbam.sys

C:\Windows\system32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys OR on x64 OS (C:\Windows\syswow6432\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sys)

For MBAM, add the ESET folder to the Ignore List.

Yes, you can enable the trial for the PRO version, which will last 2 weeks.
After that MBAM will revert to the free version automatically.

 

With this exclusion my computer crash!!!

Firewall: mbamscheduler.exe rule is not created

Or, is it Windows Vista x86 Service Pack 2, or another?

Trying to doing the following

1.- Deactivated my MBAM license from Vista SP2 and activate it in XP SP3

2.- Clean install of Vista SP2 and Install ESET and MBAM

In both cases my computer freeze after install MBAM

It is also believed that they both are 32-bit (x86) versions. If this is not correct, please let us know now.

Please give us additional clarity:

Are your Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) versions v1.75.0.1300 or v2.0.2.1012 or are both the same version?

If there are two different MBAM versions, which Windows OS do you want which version of MBAM installed on?

Do you have 1 or 2 license ID(s) and Key(s) for the Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (MBAM) product's activations?

 

Answers to the above will permit system specific instructions for you.

v1.75.0.1300 trying to update to v2.0.2.1012 (here is where my computer freeze)

Please read through the below steps before execution. If you have any questions before you begin, please ask them now.
 
Please make sure you have the 1 existing MBAM license ID and Key stored in a safe place.
 
Please remove any existing exclusions from ESET Smart Security 6.0.0 from both computers now. This should probably allow either/both computers to start properly. Do use the Windows Safe Mode in either computer if absolutely necessary.
 
For the least amount of confusion I strongly recommend, instead of trying to upgrade from MBAM 1.75.0.1300 to 2.0.2.1012, you perform a MBAM Clean Removal Process 2.x on both computers.
 
Please follow with the exclusion file entries in ESET Smart Security 6.0.0 in both computers:

Windows XP x86 (32-bit) SP3 and Vista x86 (32-bit) SP2 with MBAM 2.0.2.1012:

• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamdor.exe

Please open MBAM (GUI) Settings > Malware Exclusions > Add Folder - Drill down to, and select the ESET folder: C:\Program Files\ESET or C:\Archivos de Programa\ESET followed by a left-click of "Select Folder".
 
Next, please activate the XP computer's MBAM to Premium with the previously saved license ID and Key.
 
Please reboot each computer before and after the MBAM Clean Removal Process with exclusion entries.
 
Please let us know, in a reply to this thread, how it went with both computers.

Yes I have a question!! in near future I will wipe my drive and Install Vista x64 (64-bit) SP2  OR Windows 7 x32 (32-bit) SP1OR Windows 7 x64 (64-bit) with MBAM 2.0.2.1012, How to excliude with ESET Smart Security 6.x?

 

I do not want to ask the same question for Vista x64 (64-bit) and Windows 7 x32 (32-bit) SP1 / Windows 7 x64 (64-bit) with MBAM 2.0.2.1012

Please exclude the following files from your Antivirus Software (not sure what version of you are using):

Note: If using a software firewall besides the built in Windows Firewall you'll need to exclude them from it as well

For 32 bit versions of Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7 & Windows 8:

• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbam.exe
• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamdor.exe
• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbampt.exe
• C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe
