Where can I download the free version....

without being asked to buy the premium version after it's installed.

 

I suggest Malwarebytes to many newbies and I don't want them to be hassled with trying to figure out how not to have to buy the paid version.

The "Free Version Download" button is quite prominent on the left side of the portal page to Malwarebytes.org.

 

You will absolutely not find anything confusing or coercive after a left-click to the "Free Version Download" button.

 

After the initial installation, Malwarebytes Anti-Malware will begin a 14-day Trial mode, but this may be denied at any time during the 14-day period if desired thus placing MBAM2 in the Free mode.

Evidently the 14 day trail was throwing me off since I couldn't see the screens of my friends who were asking me about having to pay. I'll let them know about being able to deny it at any time.
