Help Removing > PUP.Optional.Superfish.A

Recommended Posts

Hello, requesting help removing 2 x PUP's

I have the premium version of malwarebytes, it has recently found 2 x "PUP.Optional.Superfish.A" which I have tried to remove but they are still there, adds are appearing in my google chrome browser, picture attached of what I mean (I drew red rectangles around the PUP's)

Also tried using ADW Cleaner and JRT to remove the PUP's but neither of these worked

Please let me know how I can successfully remove both of these PUP's

I use "Unchecky" and am careful installing programs using "custom install"  but somehow these PUP's were installed

Here is the log file from malwarebytes:

Cured it yesterday, I had to right click on the red arrow in the red box above, then delete the files in the "superfish folder" and then delete the folders themselves, everything working 100% now and malwarebytes, ADW Cleaner and JRT are not detecting anything anymore, more of a tracking cookie problem than anything else it seems, anyway all is A1 so if you have this problem delete your tracking cookies for a start and see if this does the trick for you :)
