Malwarebytes Crashes whenever it checks for updates or scans

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I have been using Malwarebytes since before 2012 and it has always worked well.  Recently it crashes whenever it checks for updates or tries to run a scan.  I did an MBAM Clean Remove and a new install per instructions too many times with the same results.  I also followed the instructions and ran the SCAN Tool and MBAM Check; Files attached.  Also did a CKDSK and Defrag

I get this windows Error:

Hello jsquareg:

We see the APPCRASH in your pasted Addition.txt file also and thank you for all your high quality data. You have taken very reasonable steps.

We will escalate your issue to Malwarebytes staffers now.

Thank you.

The logs indicate that there is probably some type of infection going on. I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.

After scanning and cleaning if you continue to have updating issues that a Helper is unable to resolve please let us know.
