MBAM 2.0 not compatible with Avira

Hello questions:

 

I have used MBAM1 w/Avira for many years as well as all versions of MBAM2 with Avira Free Antivirus on my multiple platforms where no such MBAM2 settings changes were warranted.

 

I've also installed MBAM2 w/Avira on the computers of all nearby family members where I've made no such changes.

 

I've also sent a 2nd HP Pavilion laptop with our son to Afghanistan with MBAM2 and Avira Free Antivirus and no such settings changes were necessary. The 1st MBAM/Avira equipped HP Pavilion he had didn't make it through a minor helicopter involved accident...

 

IMO - unticking "Enable self-protection module", after completing setup, is most unwise.

I use MBAM 2.0.2, with Avira and Zonealarm on WinXP Pro 32, Win7 Pro 32, Win7 Pro 64, it works fine...
