Malwarebytes won't open (encountered a problem error)

I had some malware on my computer (trovi.com, speed up my pc, and backup my pc). I got them in a bundle download that was full of junk.

 

I downloaded the latest versions of malwarebytes, adwcleaner, and hitman pro in order to clean it out. I also have Norton on my computer (which, for the record, is useless and found nothing).

 

Ever since I took care of these issues, malwarebytes simply will not open. I get the "Malwarebytes anti-malware has encountered a problem and needs to close" error on startup and when I try to open the program from my desktop. I can't run it at all.

 

Is this a sign that the malware which I downloaded could still be causing havok on my computer, or is this more likely an unrelated error? I was able to run all of the programs succesfully about a week ago, but now this one just won't open.
