222fbj Posted June 25, 2014 ID:846029 Share Posted June 25, 2014 I have database updates scheduled for once a week and they never work. I get a pop up above the tray with a button to 'Fix' which does nothing when clicked. If I open Mbam I cannot find a way to update. See the screenshot and note that 'Fix Now' and 'Update Now' do nothing. How do I fix database updates? Thanks PC info: Win8.1 x64 with Mbam Premium 2.0.2.1012
daledoc1 Posted June 25, 2014 ID:846034 Share Posted June 25, 2014 Hello and ,The most common cause of seeing the update button grayed out is being logged in to Windows from a limited user account (LUA).See here: I'm trying to update but the 'Check for Updates' button is grayed out or unable to be clicked, why?(The KB topic is for the 1.x version, but the principle still applies to version 2.)As for the other problems, let's try this first -- please be sure you are logged in to Windows with an Admin account for the MBAM reinstall:Please uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest build - MBAM Clean Removal Process 2xIf that does not correct the issue, then please read the following and post back the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic LogsNOTE: There is an FAQ section with valuable information located here - Common Questions, Issues, and their SolutionsThanks,
Garouda Posted September 15, 2016 ID:1061899 Share Posted September 15, 2016 I followed that procedure without any improvement, always searching for updates...
Firefox Posted September 15, 2016 ID:1061901 Share Posted September 15, 2016 Thanks for the additional information... While @daledoc1 returns, you need to continue on with the next step.... providing the logs will help us with diagnosing the issue...
