Which license is which?

Hi,

 

Just activated several MBAM licenses, some of them life time , some of them 1 year.

 

In the whole process I may have installed the wrong license on the wrong computer.

 

Is there a way to see when a license would expire?

Hello questions:

Of course when you see the word "Lifetime", it means just that.

If you download/run mbam-check.exe, from the desktop, and attach the diagnostic's output text file in your next reply, I'll assist you with it.

 

Please annotate the text file's name so you know which system it came from. This is particularly true if their operating systems are identical.

I was looking for an answer for my "is this lifetime or subscription" question and this 1-year old thread seems to hold the answer among all the other similar threads which doesn't satisfy.

 

Is this program still valid? I downloaded and ran it. This is what I got:

Can I be sure that this is a lifetime license?

 

If couple of others with lifetime and subscription licenses check their installation and post here maybe we can have a solid way of telling which is which.

 

And one final question: this is only valid on 1-PC, right? (I will buy one more of these if it is indeed lifetime and 1-PC, need another for my laptop)

That's a lifetime license.  The lifetime licenses are only valid for a single computer.

There's no fear that mbam-check will die out. It's the diagnostic utility used to help troubleshoot a range of issues with MBAM, not just licensing.

But, as gonzo explained, MBAM Premium users will be able to see more detail about their "license info" in a future version of the program.

FYI, I spotted your similar thread over at sevenforums.com >>here<<.

As mentioned there, ebay is NOT a trusted partner.

Alas, Malwarebytes corporation does not encourage or support purchase of licenses from ebay, because of past problems.  See here

It would be better (and safer) to purchase from a trusted seller, such as Amazon or Newegg, if they have any remaining stock of the lifetime licenses.

(The Malwarebytes online store no longer sells lifetime licenses.)
