Excellent question!

The answer is yes. You should enter in Malwarebytes Anti-Malware exclusions:

C:\Program Files\AVAST Software\*   (Since AVAST has installed in Vista's 64-bit directory)

EDIT: I found the relevant data in your diagnostic reports.
