dsr Posted June 20, 2014 ID:843904 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Please unblock my website: robinsalliance.com Also, how does this get blocked? This is basically just a landing page for my architectural studio. My ISP Webgate reports that the site is clean. If this was a personal report, are you allowed to let me know who might have reported this? It is quite detrimental to small businesses to have false positives. Regards, dsr
Staff Spud Posted June 20, 2014 Staff ID:843915 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Your website is not blocked nor had anything to do with the IP being added to the blocklist. A recheck of the IP will be done.
Staff Spud Posted June 20, 2014 Staff ID:843925 Share Posted June 20, 2014 The IP will be unblocked on the next update.
dsr Posted June 20, 2014 Author ID:844018 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Andrew,First of all, thanks for the unblocking. Can you explain what actually happened here in layman's terms? You say that the website was "not blocked", but that is what Malwarebytes did to my site for regular users, no?That is exactly what the error message says. And then you say the IP is going to be "unblocked" on the next update. What is happening here and how does this occur? How can we avoid this in the future?Best, dsr
Staff Spud Posted June 20, 2014 Staff ID:844061 Share Posted June 20, 2014 Other dommains on the IP were identified as housing trojans. Due to the block, all sites using that IP would have had the alert pop up regardless. If you ever want to see if your domain is blacklisted with us, you can check here: http://hosts-file.net/
dsr Posted June 22, 2014 Author ID:844680 Share Posted June 22, 2014 Andrew,How often do you "update"? Has this taken effect?dsr
Staff Spud Posted June 22, 2014 Staff ID:844692 Share Posted June 22, 2014 The IP is no longer in the blocklist. I visited your site with website blocking enabled, without issues. As for the block updates, these are done frequently throught the day.
