auto updating

The issue I'm having isn't auto updates, I don't have the premium version so I have to update manually.  Just the other day, my Malwarebytes was updated to 2.0, which downloaded and installed itself when I chose to update the data.  But now when I manually update, it's always the same updates listed, so I'm not sure if it's even updating anymore or properly.
