A friend of mine needs help

Recommended Posts

Hello, yesterday my friend in Brazil downloaded a bad direct x file and we believe it has caused a malware infection on her computer. The current symptoms are images not displaying properly. The malware is also preventing Malwarebytes from being installed, and it has also started causing other problems such as not allowing her to access functions of certain programs and accessing things on websites. Can somebody please help me solve this problem for her? Here is a screenshot of what happens to the images she tries to view

also the file that she installed is at

her operating system is Windows 8.1. I hope you can sort this problem out, it is quite urgent. Edited by AdvancedSetup

Very sorry for the delay. We've simply been overrun with requests for help and have not been able to get to everyone requesting help in a timely manner.
Now that we're finally getting our head a bit above water again I've been going back to review old missed requests. If you do still need help please let me know.

Thank you
