Right-click scanning is broken after upgrading to MB

I own the lifetime license for Malwarebytes Anti-Malware premium. I was recently prompted to upgrade to the latest version during a scheduled scan. I installed and now my right-click scanning option doesn't work. In the past, I simply right-clicked the folder or file i wanted to scan and the program immediately scanned just the selected files and displayed the results. Now when I right-click and scan selected folders, it simply opens the Malwarebytes program to the dashboard screen and does nothing. If i select 'scan now', it tries to do the entire computer. Any help would be appreciated.

Please try the following and let us know if it corrects the issue for you.

  1. Please uninstall your current version of MBAM and reinstall the latest version. MBAM Clean Removal Process 2x
  2. If that does not correct the issue then please read the following and post back the requested logs. - Diagnostic Logs
