Conflicts with Norton

My Norton product prevents mbamservice.exe from running.  I contacted Norton and they told me to uninstall MalwareBytes, but I do not want to do that, although Norton tells me that by reinstalling MB, the problem will be fixed.  I suspect I may have an old or corrupt mbamservice.exe file.  Can I get a clean copy of this file, or can you tell me what I need to do?  I would like to continue to use both products.
