[SOLVED] Installation questions

First I installed production version OK.

Installed new experimental build  on top.  Had to reboot twice before icon appeared in taskbar.

Seems OK now.

  I would prefer to be able to do fresh install of experimental builds rather than installing over top

of existing version without losing "premium" content.

For me, over the top is the way I prefer to go.  A well designed/compiled/written software should be able to install 'over the top'  without necessarily having to go through the tedium of first having to uninstall each time.

 

P.S. I logged into the forums onetime to be invisible, and now every time I try to show as visible, it still shows me as invisible. Not to worry!  I can still make a post.

If I understand your post correctly: The experimental version should have the premium features without having to activate. This is an advantage of testing the experimental builds. If I misunderstood, please disregard my post   ...

You can do either/or. Both upgrade (install on top) as well as fresh install (uninstall + install) will yield the same result.

If I do a clean install, is it OK if I delete the ProgramData\MalwareBytes Anti-Exploit folder before

installing the experimental build?
